Pre-K 3: Teddy Bear Picnic

Theme: Teddy Bear Picnic
Letter of the Day: P for Pooh(also liked these), B for Bear, M for Manners
Science Project: Gummy Bear Lab
Art and Craft: Draw My BearBear Finger Puppets
Music: Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear Turn Around
Value: Proverbs 17:17  Jesus as an Example of Friendship

Day One:
Focus- Winnie the Pooh
Book-The Complete Tales of Winnie the Pooh
Talk About-Different Emotions each of the Characters have
Math-Pooh WorksheetsBear Patterning Strips
Drama-act out emotions of  Pooh caracters (ex. worried like Piglet, sad like Eyore, Happy/Excited like Tigger)
Practice/Memory Work- Use Pooh Stationary to write a Thank You note
Media Helps-The Tigger Movie, GamesDisney


Day Two:
Focus- A "Beary" good friend
Book-Corduroy
Talk About- How others behavior makes us feel, how to be a good friend, 
Math- Teddy Graham MathTeddy Flash Cards, Button Sorting/More and LessPenny Math(and other printables)
Drama-Act out Goldilocks and the Three Bears (use different size bowls), build a "cave" fort
Practice/Memory Work- Emotions on BearColor Match Bears

Talk About- How Good manner help us be good friends, what good manners are.
Math- Gummy Bear Sorting and Graphing
Drama-"Pass the Salt" Game (sit in a circle and ask "may I please have the salt") and take turns passing to neighbor)
